About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse in our General Surgical and Stomal Therapy Nursing service, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to children with complex needs. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient outcomes and contribute to the development of our service.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality patient care according to NMBA standards
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and achieve positive patient outcomes
* Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs
* Provide education and support to families and carers
* Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse or Midwife with current registration and AHPRA membership
* Experience in paediatric nursing, preferably in a surgical or stoma care setting
* Advanced clinical skills and problem-solving expertise
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
