**Hourly Rate: $37.35 to $40.05 per hour + 25% loading, based on relevant experience.**

As a **Youth Worker** in this vital role, you'll provide trauma-informed, therapeutic support to children and young people in residential care. You'll be part of a team that believes in the power of connection, healing, and hope—working to create safe, nurturing environments where young people can thrive.
**What You'll Do**
- Support daily care needs and implement individual care plans.
- Role model positive behaviours and build trusting relationships.
- Ensure safe transport and maintain clear, professional documentation.
- Work sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality, client-focused care.
**What You'll Bring**
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or equivalent.
- Experience working with children and young people in care.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
- Current driver's licence (P2 minimum).
- Understanding of child protection and domestic violence frameworks (desirable).
- Possess or the ability to obtain a National Police Check, Blue Card (Working with Children) and a Licensed Care Services (LCS).
