With a strong footprint across APAC, the business is investing in Australia as a key growth market. This role sits at the front of that expansion — focused on winning new enterprise customers and shaping strategic deals in a highly competitive, high-value space.
This is a pure new business (hunter) IC role, suited for individuals who thrive on building from scratch, opening doors, and owning complex enterprise sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive new logo acquisition across enterprise accounts in Australia
* Own the full sales cycle — from prospecting through to close
* Build and execute strategic account plans to penetrate target organisations
* Partner closely with BDRs, pre-sales, and partners to generate and convert pipeline
* Engage senior stakeholders (CIO, CDO, CFO) with a value-led, consultative approach
* Navigate and close complex, multi-threaded deals in the analytics/data space
* Maintain strong pipeline discipline and accurate forecasting
Requirements
* Proven track record in enterprise new business sales (hunter profile is critical)
* Experience selling analytics, data platforms, BI, or adjacent enterprise software
* Ability to open doors and build pipeline — not reliant on inbound or existing accounts
* Strong commercial acumen with experience closing large, complex deals
* Confidence engaging C-level stakeholders and driving strategic conversations
* Self-driven, resilient, and comfortable operating in a high-accountability environment
Good to Have
* Experience selling into data, AI, or decision intelligence ecosystems
* Background working with or alongside channel/partner networks
* Familiarity with MEDDICC/MEDDPICC or structured sales methodologies
* Exposure to high-growth or transformation-phase organisations
