ConsultANZ is looking for experienced Piling Project Engineers to join our client’s growing team on major ground engineering and foundation projects across Queensland. ABOUT YOU You're a detail-oriented and technically proficient engineer with a strong foundation in piling operations and ground engineering solutions. You thrive in dynamic site environments and enjoy contributing to the delivery of challenging projects, from planning through to execution. WHAT YOU BRING Solid background in modern piling techniques, such as CFA, bored, driven, or diaphragm walls. Strong ability to manage technical documentation, reporting, and compliance. Collaborative approach, with proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams. Excellent time management and a proactive attitude toward project delivery. Confidence in leading packages of work and resolving on-site challenges. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate with site teams to ensure clear communication of technical requirements. Monitor works to ensure alignment with design specifications and quality expectations. Supervise the implementation of temporary works, ensuring safe and compliant practices. Assist in developing and updating short-term construction programs. Prepare methodologies and risk assessments to support on-site operations. Track variations and additional works for accurate monthly progress claims. Maintain a detailed daily diary, logging progress, issues, and resource usage. Ensure all project records are systematically maintained and securely archived. WHAT YOU NEED Minimum 7 years’ post-graduate experience in civil engineering roles. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline. Practical experience in piling or geotechnical works, ideally in the Australian market. Strong understanding of civil construction principles and project lifecycles. Ability to operate in high-pressure, fast-paced project environments. WHAT’S ON OFFER Base salary of $90,000 – $130,000 super, depending on experience. Opportunity to work on flagship piling and ground engineering projects.
