The opportunity
We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) to support the P-8A Poseidon aircraft, supporting airborne surveillance, communications, and maritime patrol systems. You will work in a dynamic environment, supporting an aircraft platform that defends Australia's interests. This role involves warehousing, distribution, receipt, dispatch, and inventory management activities. Knowledge of material management, maintenance warehousing, freight booking, operation of plant and manual handling equipment, and proficiency in inventory systems are required.
This role is located onsite at RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia.
As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you will:
* Assist with managing inventory for accountability and traceability
* Manage Goods inwards
* Handle hazardous chemical management
* Manage Shelf Life
* Process transactions in Inventory Management System (Oracle) and MILIS
* Maintain P-8A Poseidon Depot Maintenance Support and Ground Support Equipment inventory
* Ensure PPE and tooling are available and serviceable
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Cert III in warehousing operations (highly desirable), with funded on-the-job support available
* Experience with MILIS, ERP (Oracle), and SAP (desirable)
* High Risk Forklift Licence (desirable), with training available
* Desire to grow knowledge in supply support roles
* Interest in computerised inventory management systems
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (preferable)
