Theatre Support Officer Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Theatre Support Officer. As a key member of our Operating Room Suite (ORS) team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
About the Role:
* Provide high-level administrative support to the ORS team, including maintaining accurate records and preparing reports as required
* Assist with the coordination of ORS operations, including scheduling surgeries and preparing operating rooms for use
* Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to ORS operations
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative support: Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the ORS team, ensuring all activities are conducted within established guidelines and procedures.
2. Scheduling and coordination: Assist with the coordination of ORS operations, including scheduling surgeries and preparing operating rooms for use.
3. Policies and procedures: Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to ORS operations.
Requirements:
* A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
