The College is looking for an energetic Education Support Officer to support students in their pursuit of learning in our Christian school environment. We would like to fill more than one role at this time to cover all areas of the College, so the ability to work across all school age groups will be an advantage. This can be a part time or full time role, working from 8.30am – 3.30pm, during school term time (for an immediate start).
What You'll Do
* Provide in class support and assistance as directed by the teacher
* Provide individual and small group assistance in Literacy and Numeracy
* Support students with motor skills difficulties
* Prepare learning resources for students with additional needs and other administration tasks as requested by the classroom teacher
* Accompany students at events and on excursions
What We're Looking For
* Patient, empathetic and supportive in working with children
* Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
* Flexible and responsive to student needs
* Committed to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards
* Experience in education support (desirable)
* Willingness to obtain required clearances and qualifications
