We are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to lead our Humanware sales operations across Australia. This individual will be responsible for managing a small team, supporting distribution partners, and driving business development initiatives. The successful candidate will bring proven experience in sales leadership, account management, and pipeline tracking—along with deep knowledge of the Assistive Technology space for people who are blind or visually impaired.
Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture aligned to company objectives and customer needs.
* Strengthen and expand relationships with key distribution partners, while identifying and developing new business opportunities across Australia.
* Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements to enhance brand presence and market reach.
* Oversee the national sales pipeline, ensuring consistent tracking of opportunities from lead generation through to close, with accurate forecasting and performance reporting.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
* Travel nationally (approximately 35%) to support partners, manage accounts, and maintain a strong presence across a broad geographic territory.
* Maintain up-to-date market knowledge, including industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
* Champion the needs of customers who are blind or visually impaired, ensuring their perspectives are reflected in business initiatives and strategic priorities.
About you
* Proven sales management experience, ideally in a national role.
* Hands‐on experience managing sales pipelines and reporting.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar platforms such as Salesforce.com.
* Strong business development mindset with a track record of growing sales through partnerships.
* Ability to travel within Australia (35% of the time), with a focus on New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, and ACT.
* Required: Experience in the Assistive Technology sector, specifically in solutions for people who are blind or visually impaired.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
