Jumbuck is a fourth-generation Australian business with over 130 years of experience in livestock and land management across the country.
We're currently seeking a full-time, permanent Station Hand to join our team at Commonwealth Hill Station – a 1-million-acre property running 30,000 Merino sheep with a dedicated team of 10. Located 110km west of the Stuart Highway between Glendambo and Coober Pedy, Commonwealth Hill is well-resourced and professionally managed.
What we're looking for:
* Someone ready to build a long-term career in the pastoral industry
* Confident riding 2-wheel motorbikes (or willing to learn)
* Comfortable living and working in remote outback Australia
* No prior livestock experience required – we'll train the right person
What you'll be doing:
* Mustering sheep on 2-wheel motorbikes
* Water runs (dams, bores, water points)
* Yard work and fencing
* General mechanical maintenance (engines, small motors)
