About The Role
This position supports the Asset and Capital Manager Team in planning developments to meet school growth strategies and managing the design and delivery of staged programs of works while maintaining safe school operations.
1. Key Responsibilities:
2. Plan and manage the implementation of minor capital works safely, efficiently, and in accordance with budget, quality, and program expectations.
3. Apply best practice principles to project management, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and/or legislation.
4. Respond to and follow up all stakeholder queries, requests for maintenance, and status of approved works in a timely manner.
5. Undertake school site visits to scope school needs and external party requirements.
6. As needed, work on-site while work is undertaken to ensure the Principal is supported in managing property projects.
7. Provide accurate reporting to meet deadlines pertaining to facilities work and longer-term projects.
About You
We are seeking an individual with:
1. Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline, along with demonstrated professional experience in facilities management.
2. A NSW WorkCover White Card and Working with Children's Check.
3. A current NSW driver's licence.
4. The expectation of travelling and using your own car, with a car allowance included in your package.
5. The ability to be based at our Pennant Hills office but frequently travel between schools.
