As a senior financial leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and delivering strategic insights to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* To deliver timely and accurate analysis of monthly financials for the cotton platform.
* Manage the financial implications of industry asset procurement and divestment, including fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
* Design and enhance reporting strategies and templates for improved effectiveness.
* Provide expert advice on finance policies and resolve complex queries from global finance teams.
* Analyse profit and loss statements, volumes, revenues, and production cost drivers for stakeholders.
* Lead industry-related financial audits annually.
* Collaborate with the FP&A analyst to prepare and review annual budgets for ginning, warehousing, and corporate business units.
* Support monthly forecasting, tracking industry-related volumes and KPIs for management and executive teams.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial information and analysis to inform business decisions. Your expertise will drive financial performance and contribute to the company's success.
Requirements:
* A professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent).
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in a finance role, ideally within a medium-to-large corporate environment.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge aligned with Australian accounting standards.
* Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, variance analysis, general ledger posting, accruals, reconciliations, and management reporting.
* Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting cycles.
