Santa Clara Unified School District serves over 15,000 TK-12 students, including preschool through adult education, across a 56-square-mile area that encompasses neighborhoods in Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, San Jose, and Cupertino.

Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must hold a valid California Special Education (Mild/Moderate) Credential with an Added Authorization in Autism.
Additionally, applicants must have at least one of the following authorizations to teach English Learners: CTEL, CLAD, BCLAD, AB2913 training (formerly SB395 or SB1969), or SB2042 EL Authorization.
Candidates without a valid credential on the first day of the school year will not be considered.
Please note that 30-day Substitute Credentials are not valid for contracted positions.

Additional Information
*Signing Stipend: SAI teachers and SLPs will receive a signing bonus of $5,000, phased in over three years: $1,000 in the first year, $2,000 in the second, and $2,000 in the third.
