Finance Professional Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Finance Professional to join our team on a short-term contract. This exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute to the financial management of our organization during a critical period.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Support the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
* Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
* Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and controls.
* Prepare financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
* Assist in managing cash flow and treasury operations.
* Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as needed.
* Contribute to special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA or CA certification is preferred.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial management or accounting.
* Proficiency with SUN systems and Opera.
* Proficiency with rostering, payroll, and purchasing systems, including Ready Workforce and Purchase Plus.
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
* Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
* Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Familiarity with Australian financial regulations and compliance requirements.
