Job Description
* Design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
* Leading and mentoring a team of IT professionals
* Project management and delivering on key technology initiatives
* Ensuring IT infrastructure aligns with organisational strategies and objectives
* Managing vendors and third-party relationships
* Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
* Continuously improving infrastructure performance and reliability
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer should have:
* Strong communication and relationship management skills
* Specific skills and exposure to: Microsoft Windows Server Operating systems; Linux Operating Systems; VMware virtualisation stack; Microsoft Azure Cloud.
* Experience assessing patching requirements, coordinating deployments, testing and troubleshooting technical issues.
* Experience supporting Microsoft SQL and Oracle Databases
* Experience migrating systems from on-premises to the cloud
* Experience developing and utilising Enterprise patching solutions to enable automation.
* Experience with utilising PowerShell or similar scripting language
* Experience supporting digital systems and platforms such as Oracle Financials or similar, Sharepoint and Microsoft 365.
* Experience and knowledge of working within the ACSC Essential 8/ISM and PSPF.
