Administrative Support Specialist

Randstad has partnered exclusively with several government departments in Western Australia, offering a range of temporary assignments. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will work within a fast-paced environment and receive excellent support from colleagues.

* You will provide high-level administrative support to senior executives in a corporate setting.
* Responsibilities include complex diary management, email management, and scheduling meetings.
* Prioritize conflicting needs and ensure timely availability for critical meetings and issues.

About the Role:

* Executive Assistant to the Director
* Work in a dynamic environment with excellent support from colleagues.
* Experience in providing high-level executive support in a corporate setting is essential.
* Strong diary management and email management skills are required.
* This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday.
* Scheduling meetings and prioritizing tasks are key responsibilities.
* Long-term and short-term roles are available.
* You will oversee reception staff tasks and duties.
* Provide administrative support and plan/coordinated various administrative functions.
* Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Board Support:

* Record and prepare formal minutes for Board and committee meetings according to governance standards.
* Prepare, distribute, and track agendas, papers, and action items in collaboration with the Secretariat or Executive Team.
* Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling, venue bookings, document collation, and catering where necessary.
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
* Provide executive-level administrative support, including calendar and inbox management, correspondence, and report formatting.

Requirements:

* HEnumber
* Previous government experience is not essential but highly desirable.
* Highly skilled in typing, writing, grammar, and oral communication.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
* Professional presentation and good organization and interpersonal skills are required.
