About the role:
In this dynamic role, you will provide training and guidance to Victoria Legal Aid's (VLA) staff and practice partners on VLA guidelines, fees and policies. You will develop support materials for training sessions, assess applications for legal assistance and manage grants in accordance with delegated powers. You will also identify and implement new policies and processes to improve the experience of those seeking legal assistance, and contribute generally to the work of the Legal Practice Directorate.
About Legal Practice:
Legal Practice provides a central point for whole-of-practice support and is the central point of contact for private practitioners, VLA lawyers and Community Legal Centre lawyers.
Legal Practice's responsibilities include developing and supporting a quality legal practice, training and practice support, and the administration of the legal assistance scheme under the Legal Aid Act.

7. Highly developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in multi-functional and cross-organisational teams.
