About The Role
PPS Water Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our diverse project teams. At PPS, we empower our Project Managers with the tools and resources they need to excel. From start to finish, you'll lead teams and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution: develop comprehensive project plans, manage timelines, budgets, resources, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to the highest quality standards.
Leadership & Team Management: provide clear expectations, motivate team members, delegate tasks, and manage performance.
Contract & Commercial Management: negotiate contract terms, manage financial and cost controls, track project costs, handle variations, and ensure accurate financial status at handover.
Risk Management: identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and conduct strategic, compliance, operational, financial, and reputation risk analysis.
Stakeholder Communication: maintain effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and senior management; keep everyone informed of progress, issues, and changes.
Quality Assurance: implement quality control measures and ensure projects meet or exceed expectations; oversee contracts with suppliers and subcontractors for timely, quality delivery.
Documentation & Reporting: prepare project documentation, conduct periodic internal reporting, and provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
About You
Proven Project Manager experience
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Experience in Civil, Piping and Earthworks
Experience with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors
Minimum project cost of $50 million+ with large direct workforce
Knowledge of current WHS legislation and regulations
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screen
Construction White Card
Valid Driver's Licence
National Police Clearance (desirable)
