About the roleMeriton Suites is looking for a Hotel Manager to oversee daily operations at one of our Parramatta hotels.
The successful candidate will maintain exceptional guest experiences while safeguarding brand standards and assets.
The role reports to the Area General Manager, NSW, and is supported by our centralized headquarters in Sydney to ensure consistency and compliance across the brand.
Responsibilities
Take charge of daily hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Safeguard the brand and its assets while maintaining operational excellence.
Coach and mentor the team to develop both soft and technical skills.
Drive a culture that genuinely puts hospitality at the heart of what we do.
Adhere to WHS and employment law best practices while meeting best-practice objectives.
Provide honest performance feedback and lead succession planning for team members.
Conduct regular frontline shifts to lead by example.
Continuously strive to create memorable guest experiences and inspire staff.
Identify service and skills gaps and enforce effective solutions.
Qualifications & Leadership Attributes
Hands-on leadership approach with regular frontline shifts.
High emotional intelligence demonstrated through leadership abilities.
