Our community based preschool is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our warm, inclusive, and child-focused team. We are a not-for-profit service committed to supporting children, families, and the wider community through high-quality early learning programs.
About the Role
The role is permanent part time 3-4 days per week.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with educators and families to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child's development, wellbeing, and sense of belonging.
Key Responsibilities
* In conjunction with other educators, develop and implement a high quality education and care curriculum for all enrolled children that is consistent with:
» the service philosophy, procedures and policies.
» the National Quality Standards.
» Education and Care Services National Regulations.
» Education and Care Services National Law.
» Early Years Learning Framework
» National Principles for Child Safe Organisations
» the National Model Code for Taking Images or Videos of Children while Providing Early Childhood Education and Care, and Guidelines.
* Act in a manner that ensures the rights, best interests, safety and wellbeing of children always come first
* Build secure, respectful and reciprocal relationships with children and families
* Support, lead and mentor other educators
* Role model and engage children in learning opportunities
* Provide leadership and support to documentation, planning and reflection
* Support and actively plan for a respectful and inclusive environment
* Build collaborative relationships with all staff
* Ensure each child has a sense of being, belonging and becoming within the service
* Work within the National Quality Framework, the Early Childhood Australia Code of Ethics, Child Safe Standards, the service philosophy, and policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements
· Hold an ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification
· Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certification
· Current Working With Children Check
· Hold active accreditation with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
· Current child protection training
