We have an opportunity to join Brownes Dairy as a Laboratory Assistant based in Brunswick, serving the Southwest region.
Key Accountabilities
* Testing raw milk and finished products to support quality control procedures.
* Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment for daily operations.
* Entering test results into the Quality Management System ensuring timely and accurate recording for product release.
* Managing the sampling and testing of raw materials and finished products to ensure operational efficiency while maintaining accuracy.
* Maintaining supplies required for laboratory daily operations.
* Organising the laboratory environment to ensure operational efficiency.
Key Skills and Experience
* Tertiary level qualification in Laboratory, Food Science or a related field, or currently studying toward one.
* Strong understanding of food safety standards, laboratory practices and microbiological testing.
* Ability to communicate and liaise with internal stakeholders.
* Skills in data entry and data trending; proficiency with spreadsheets.
* Strong attention to detail in entering test results and maintaining laboratory protocols.
