About the Role
Ready to influence real outcomes in Australia's Defence capability? Babcock is on the hunt for a Senior Management Accountant to bring strategic financial expertise to our Land Defence programs. This is a key role supporting two high-profile initiatives: the Australian Defence Force Ground Support Equipment (ADFGSE) program and the Counter-Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive (CCBRNE) program.
As part of our Finance team, you’ll be embedded in the core of our operations—partnering with stakeholders, analysing financial performance and driving sound decision-making. You'll lead the charge on monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while also managing invoicing, cash flow and supporting contract change proposals. Your ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights will be critical as you prepare customer reports and contribute to bid development and cost modelling.

To be successful, you will bring:
Australian Citizen with a Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
Accounting/Commerce undergraduate degree.
Professional accounting body membership qualified (or near qualified).
Sound knowledge of accounting standards.
Previous experience in a similar role.
