As a Staff Engineer, you will be integral to our mission of advancing the next generation of electric vehicles. Our team is dedicated to designing and developing cutting-edge vehicle motion control features, enabling innovation in this exciting field.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Designing and developing advanced vehicle motion control features such as One Pedal Drive, Drive Modes, Traction Control, Torque Vectoring, and Vehicle Hold.
* Contributing to the architecture and integration of control algorithms into production vehicle platforms.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and refine feature requirements.
* Implementing supervisory safety checks in alignment with functional safety goals.
* Developing and executing test plans at the software, subsystem, and vehicle levels.
* Supporting the development and use of simulation tools and integration test environments.
* Participating in code reviews and contributing to the overall quality and robustness of the control software stack.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a solid understanding of control systems and real-world implementation in automotive applications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, along with 10+ years of experience in vehicle controls, embedded systems, or motion control domains.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in vehicle controls, embedded systems, or motion control domains.
* Experience developing high-performance chassis systems such as torque vectoring, adaptive damping, or stability control.
* Experience developing safety-critical software stacks in compliance with automotive safety standards.
* Solid understanding of control systems and real-world implementation in automotive applications.
* Strong knowledge and experience with software development (C/C++, Python, or MATLAB/Simulink) and real-time embedded systems.
* Familiarity with safety development frameworks such as ISO 26262.
