We are seeking an Executive Services Officer to provide efficient and effective administrative support to our Senior Officers in the Far North Queensland Region. This is a temporary full-time opportunity until 30 June 2025, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role
As an Executive Services Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Providing confidential executive and administrative services to Senior Officers;
* Preparing and disseminating information to departmental clients and community bodies;
* Coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, and events; and
* Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Scheduling appointments and maintaining diaries;
* Receiving and assisting visitors, redirecting telephone calls;
* Taking minutes of meetings and distributing to attendees;
* Organizing conferences, meetings, and other events;
* Providing advice on office administrative procedures;
* Preparing communication materials, reports, and correspondence;
* Maintaining accurate spreadsheets and databases;
* Liaising with officers, schools, government agencies, and community representatives;
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* Excellent communication and organizational skills;
* High level information technology skills, including Microsoft Office;
* Able to work independently and as part of a team;
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion;
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
