We are seeking applications from enthusiastic Occupational Therapists to join our dedicated Occupational Therapy team. This permanent part-time position is available for immediate start and includes working Monday to Friday. This role includes accountability for delivery of high quality, evidence based clinical services, supervision of Grade 1 Occupational Therapists and allied health assistants, assist with the co-ordination of the undergraduate student program, as well as planning and implementation of quality improvement projects within the department. The Occupational Therapist will rotate between acute, sub-acute and community streams, with the opportunity to work within speciality areas of Pain management, Hand Therapy and Driving Assessment.
Key Selection Criteria include:
Essential:
1. Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
2. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
3. Current Victorian Drivers Licence
4. Experience in providing Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention within acute, subacute and community settings
5. Experience in supervision of Occupational Therapy team members and undergraduate students
6. Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills
7. Well-developed interpersonal skills
Desirable:
8. At least 3 years clinical experience
9. Membership of Occupational Therapy Australia
10. Awareness of National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards/Aged Care Quality Standards
11. High level organisation skills
12. Demonstrated ability for collaborative teamwork within a multidisciplinary framework
