PERSOL is proud to partner with a top-tier mining operator in the Pilbara to recruit an experienced Specialist Track Reliability Engineer - to support rail maintenance operations at a major Pilbara site.
Pay Range: $120/hr - $165/hr + Super
Roster: Primarily site based 5/2:4/3 (Flexible with WFH)
Contract: Initial 6 months contract potential for on‑going work
In this role, you will provide technical leadership to improve track asset reliability, maintenance performance, and lifecycle outcomes through data‑driven analysis and structured continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse asset and maintenance performance to drive reliability improvements.
* Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
* Optimise asset lifecycle and maintenance strategies.
* Support capital planning, business cases, and operational readiness.
* Provide frontline reliability support to maintenance teams.
About You
* Degree qualified in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar).
* Proven reliability or maintenance engineering experience in rail, mining, or heavy industry.
* Track maintenance knowledge is highly desirable.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and SAP experience.
* Safety-focused with strong stakeholder engagement capability.
