Chief Fundraising Officer
We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive philanthropic growth and align our development strategies with the National Museum of Australia's strategic plans.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Create a culture of philanthropy through fundraising innovation and donor engagement
* Develop compelling proposals and steward relationships with individual donors, trusts, and foundations
* Lead the Development team in achieving income growth and exceeding ambitious fundraising goals
About This Role:
* Proven track record of achieving income growth and surpassing fundraising targets, combined with expertise in Australian history and culture
* Exceptional leadership skills, ability to build and inspire high-performing teams, and mentorship qualities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the capacity to craft engaging narratives for donors throughout the philanthropic journey
* Relevant experience in leading fundraising growth strategies, teams, and donor relationships
* Preferred Qualifications: CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) or other relevant certifications
