EML are seeking experienced Claims professionals from New Zealand to join our growing organisation.Every day our Claims teams help coordinate, negotiate, and facilitate an injured workers recovery through tailored support to individuals to help get their lives back.
As a senior team member, you will set the standard in claims management while guiding and supporting others around you through mentoring and coaching colleagues and leading by example to create a culture of collaboration.This will be a full time, permanent position with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week once fully trained.
This role can be based from any EML Australian office with a generous relocation allowance on offer for eligible candidates.Your ResponsibilitiesPro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costsCollaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategyAssist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recoveryAssess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and paymentsRespond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the teamAbout YouMinimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme is mandatoryYou must currently be residing in New Zealand to be eligible for relocation bonusAn empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach to provide customer centric supportA driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skillsCareful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy to manage stakeholder engagementA team player who likes to work collaboratively and can also work independentlyWhat We OfferWe stand together as equals.
