Location - ADELAIDE SAImmediate StartContract Duration - 12 MonthsThe Transformation Readiness Lead is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of transformation initiatives by developing and implementing pragmatic strategies that embed new processes, technology, and ways of working.
This role works collaboratively with key stakeholders to drive organisational readiness, mitigate risks, and align business activities with the future operating model.
Key accountabilities Success in this role will be evaluated on the following key accountabilities:
Demonstrate organisational compliance * Maintain the integrity of the Corporate Compliance Framework by adhering to all organisational and legal obligations.
These include, but are not limited to, Legislation, Regulations, Codes of Practice, Licences, Policies, Processes, and Work Instructions - for example this includes the Work Health and Safety Act 2012 and its Regulations, the Code of Ethics for the South Australian Public Sector, our Fair Treatment, Anti-Discrimination and Harassment procedure and Ethical Standards procedures and the State Records Act 1997.
Change Implementation Strategy & Readiness Planning * Develop and execute a structured approach to embedding transformation solutions across the organisation.
* Create and maintain a readiness plan that outlines key activities, milestones, and dependencies.
* Ensure alignment between readiness activities and broader business priorities to optimise implementation effort.
* Identify risks, issues, and challenges related to change adoption and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Facilitation * Collaborate closely with initiative leads, business units, and change champions to drive engagement and adoption.
* Design and facilitate key engagement activities such as workshops, training sessions, and communication briefings.
* Develop tailored communication strategies to ensure transparency and clarity throughout the change process.
* Provide coaching and support to leaders and teams to enhance their ability to navigate change effectively.
Business Operating Model Implementation Support * Work in partnership with the Operating Model Lead to support the realisation of the future Business Operating Model.
* Ensure new processes, roles, and responsibilities are clearly defined and integrated into business operations.
* Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and adjust strategies as needed to enhance adoption.
* Capture and apply lessons learned to continuously improve the organisation's approach to transformation.
Skills, knowledge, experience, behaviours, and attitudes Key selection criteria:
Essential/Desirable * Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources, Organisational Change, or a related field
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement change strategies in complex business environments
* Proven experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders and facilitating change through effective communication
* Strong skills in planning, coordinating, and executing change readiness activities
* Ability to identify potential risks and issues related to business readiness and implement appropriate interventions
