Site Manager – Queanbeyan
We are looking for a dedicated and driven Site Manager to oversee and lead our operations at the Queanbeyan and Nowra sites. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of our business while developing a high-performing team and delivering outstanding customer service.
As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring KPIs are met, driving improvements in service quality, and overseeing customer relations. You will also play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and achieving business goals while ensuring all activities align with Toll's safety, operational, and performance standards.
Key Accountabilities
Safety & Operational Excellence – develop and foster a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement; achieve year-on-year improvements in safety and operational metrics across both Queanbeyan and Nowra sites; lead the implementation of HSE management systems.
Business & Market Planning – develop and deliver business and market plans that execute the CCEP ACT operational strategy; identify and pursue opportunities for additional services and solutions with existing customers.
Customer Service Leadership – champion superior customer service, focusing on delivering high-quality experiences and driving positive customer satisfaction through regular feedback and KPI management.
Team Development – build, develop, and retain high-performing teams through effective people management strategies, including employee engagement, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
Cost and Service Optimisation – drive cost management initiatives, ensuring cost-effective service delivery while optimising value-added services for customers.
P&L Management – oversee the Canberra P&L, monitor and report on budget variances, and activate improvement initiatives in collaboration with Finance and Commercial support teams.
Pre-Requisites for Success
At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role, managing teams and driving operational performance.
Strong experience in P&L management – budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Proven ability to develop and mentor high-performing teams, driving employee engagement and professional development.
In-depth understanding of COR legislation and associated responsibilities.
Forklift licence, HR licence, and driver's licence essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence effectively at all levels.
