Role

* Lead the day to day operations of a high performing data linkage team, delivering a dynamic work program aligned to priorities, timelines and quality standards, including stewardship of the Master Linkage Key.
* Drive impactful, high profile projects by applying advanced linkage methods, ensuring accurate, timely and well documented outputs while balancing ongoing service delivery.
* Optimise resources across concurrent initiatives, proactively managing risks, dependencies and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
* Champion best practice, privacy and continuous improvement while building team capability through coaching, innovation and a culture of excellence.
Health Manager Level 4 starting salary from $147,653 - $175,917 per Super, with a 38-hour work week.
What you'll be doing
* Lead planning and delivery of data linkage services aligned to organisational priorities.
* Provide expert advice on feasibility, methods, data quality and interpretation, ensuring compliance with privacy, security and ethics.
* Manage resources, workloads, risks and timelines across multiple projects, maintaining service levels.
* Drive quality and capability through standardised processes, coaching, peer review and stakeholder engagement.
About you
* Relevant Tertiary Qualifications: Have relevant tertiary qualifications with demonstrated Record linkage experience working with data across various industries such as health, education, and other government.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Show excellent written and oral communication skills, active listening, interpersonal and supervision abilities. Capable of effectively communicating with both technical and non- technical personnel within and outside our business unit.
* Ability to design and build record linkage systems: Proven ability in using modern data management systems and software tools, for example, Snowflake Cloud, SQL Server, high-volume data processing. Experience with probabilistic modelling is desirable.
* High-Level Analytical Thinking Skills: Have high-level conceptual, evaluation, and analytical thinking skills. Capable of defining problems, analysing requirements, understanding population health information, and finding, addressing, and managing data quality issues.
* Experience in Team Collaboration: Have experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on sensitive issues to achieve desired outcomes.
* Strong Organizational Skills: Demonstrate solid organizational skills for managing competing issues and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
