About the Role Smith & Co is currently recruiting experienced Civil Labourers for a number of active projects across the Sunshine Coast. Working with a highly regarded local contractor, you'll be involved in a range of civil construction and subdivision works. These positions offer full-time hours from day one, with the potential to secure a permanent role for candidates who demonstrate reliability, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety. The role will primarily involve pit and pipe works, supporting crews with trenching, drainage installation, pipe laying, backfilling, machine spotting, site preparation, and other general civil labouring duties required to keep projects moving efficiently. Job Details Pay: $36 per hour penalties travel and meal allowances Shifts: Day shifts commencing from 6:30am, working 8–12 hours per day Projects: Civil Construction and Subdivision Projects Locations: Multiple project sites across the Sunshine Coast What We're Looking For Previous experience working as a Civil Labourer within civil construction, subdivisions, or infrastructure projects Pit and pipe experience highly regarded Familiarity with trenching, drainage installation, pipe laying support, backfilling, and site preparation activities Experience spotting plant and working safely around excavators and other machinery Current White Card required (RII tickets advantageous but not essential) Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in a hands-on environment Dependable, punctual, and available for ongoing Monday–Friday work Strong understanding of site safety procedures and safe work practices How to Apply If you're looking for steady work, strong site hours, and the opportunity to join a contractor with a growing project pipeline, click Apply Now and take the next step in your civil construction career with Smith & Co.
