Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
We are looking for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our Spearwood workshop on a full‐time basis, working a condensed 4‐day week roster. The role requires delivering high‐quality workmanship on Mack, UD and Volvo trucks, meeting the minimum product standards.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair heavy road transport vehicles, including Mack, UD and Volvo models.
* Use dealership diagnostic information, product specialists and specialist tooling to perform repairs.
* Communicate identified defects and recommendations to customers and team.
* Work autonomously while ensuring quality workmanship and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Relevant trade certificate (essential).
* Current HR licence (desirable).
* Experience in a heavy road transport service and repair environment.
* Strong communication skills.
* Self‐motivation and ability to work independently.
* Proven track record of quality workmanship.
* Experience with Mack, UD or Volvo products is highly desirable.
