About the role
Convergint is seeking a Field Services Business Analyst to support the Service Department by providing accurate reporting, data analysis, and business insights to enhance client outcomes, service performance, and operational decision making. This is your chance to become part of a global leader in security, network, and audio-visual solutions.
Your responsibilities will Include:
* Collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
* Prepare regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations to internal stakeholders.
* Translate complex data into clear written insights, summaries, and recommendations.
* Support report writing for business reviews, operational updates, project reporting, and leadership reporting.
* Assist in identifying trends, patterns and anomalies within datasets.
* Collaborate with different function departments to understand reporting requirements and business needs.
* Support continuous improvement of reporting processes, automation, and data visualization tools.
* Ensure confidentiality and appropriate handling of sensitive business data.
* Other ad hoc tasks as required.
To be successful in the role you will need to have:
* Understanding of data governance and data quality principles (desirable)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong written communication and report writing skills
* Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
* Solid Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills
* Flexible, adaptable, proactive ability to work on own initiative
Experience
* Internship or project experience involving data analysis, reporting, or dashboards (desirable)
* Experience with Python, R, or other analytics tools (desirable but not essential)
Qualifications/Certifications/Licenses
* Recent tertiary qualifications in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
