Join our community-based Physiotherapy team
Join Metro South Health as a Physiotherapist (HP3) within the service in a temporary full-time role until June 2026. You'll deliver evidence-based physiotherapy care to clients in community and residential settings, supporting rehabilitation, restorative care and safe discharge planning as part of an interprofessional team.
Your New Role
In this role, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services to clients receiving community-based rehabilitation through the program. Working across multiple sites, you will deliver assessment, intervention and evaluation while applying increasingly independent clinical judgement under the guidance of senior clinicians.
You Will
* Deliver physiotherapy assessment, intervention and evaluation in community settings
* Manage an allocated caseload using effective prioritisation and time management
* Apply evidence-based practice within clinical supervision frameworks
* Support discharge planning and care coordination for clients
* Provide education and supervision to students and Allied Health Assistants
About you:
You are a motivated physiotherapist with a strong interest in community-based rehabilitation and restorative models of care. You work well independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively and are committed to high-quality, patient-centred practice.
You Will Bring
* Qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration
* Experience or interest in community, rehabilitation or aged care physiotherapy
* Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and communication skills
* Ability to manage caseloads and work across multiple community locations
* Commitment to professional development, quality and safe practice
