The Role
We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Casual Medical Receptionist to join our front desk team. This is a flexible role ideal for someone with a passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical setting.
Responsibilities
* Greeting patients and managing appointments
* Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries
* Processing billing and Medicare claims
* Assisting with patient records and general admin duties
* Supporting doctors, nurses, and fellow reception staff
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in medical reception or general admin
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent time management and attention to detail
* Confident using medical software (e.g. Best Practice or similar)
* Ability to work flexible hours, including cover for staff leave
