Procurement Expert Required
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented procurement expert to lead our evolving procurement framework and ensure value-driven compliant outcomes.
About the Opportunity
* Develop and advise on procurement strategies in line with policy and legislation
* Support contract documentation, tender evaluations, and register maintenance
* Ensure supplier management and compliance reporting is up to standard
* Deliver high-level customer service and guide officers on purchasing compliance
* Maintain records compile reports and monitor supply needs across operational areas
You will bring:
* Demonstrated experience in procurement or contract administration across various categories
* Sound knowledge of purchasing legislation probity and risk management
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support staff at all levels
* Experience maintaining procurement records tender documentation and financial data
* A tertiary qualification in Procurement Finance Management or similar desirable
* Local government experience highly regarded
