Walara Background
Walara Incorporated was formed as a result of 3 aged care facilities merging in 2022/2023, Balaklava Millcourt Homes (BMH) Accredited until 2026, Hamley Bridge Aged Care (HBAC) Accredited until 2025, and Gilbert Valley Senior Citizens Homes (GVSCH) Accredited until 2027.
The three sites operate 124 residential aged care beds in total, and retirement living services in Balaklava and Gilbert Valley.

Registered Nurses Required:
Permanent and casual AM, PM & ND Staff (Furnished units may be available)
As a Registered Nurse at Walara you will:
1. be responsible for providing high quality clinical care to our residents and clinical supervision
2. have demonstrated experience in providing person centred care that ensures the dignity and respect of all residents
3. possess highly developed communication, assessment, and problem solving skills
4. have demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team, and make meaningful connections with our residents and their families.
In addition, you will display or hold:
1. tertiary qualifications (Bachelor or higher) Nursing (RN) with current AHPRA registration
2. evidence of vaccinations (as per compliance requirements)
3. current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Aged Care) or be willing to obtain
