Cost Management Specialist
This role involves a focus on cost trending and forecasting, where you will be required to monitor project baseline budgets and provide regular end of month cost reports.
* Establish and track project budgets
* Produce detailed cost forecasts and trends
* Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
* Monitor and report on cost actuals vs budget
* Collaborate with stakeholders to compile and submit client progress claims
The ideal candidate will require a current Construction Industry Induction Card (White Card or equivalent) and undergo a medical assessment prior to commencement.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commercial, engineering, finance or similar
* Minimum 5 years experience on major infrastructure projects
* Proficiency in cost management tools (excel, SAP, Power Bi, SharePoint, JDE)
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment
