Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Secretary to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our partners and solicitors, as well as managing various tasks and duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with clients to arrange meetings, file notes, memos and other information relating to clients
* Preparing monthly fee estimates for billings
* Providing secretarial assistance to various business units in the practice when required
* Attending to filing daily, photocopying and binding of documents, faxing documents, preparing post items
* Data entry onto Open Practice and Law Docs
* Managing and maintaining action lists
* Preparing contracts, word processing, formatting documents, taking dictation
Requirements:
* 3-5 years' experience within a similar role with a legal practice
* A typing speed of at least 80wpm
* An understanding of Open Practice and Lawdocs
* Strong MS Word and Excel skills
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work discreetly and efficiently. They will also have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively.
