Home Care Worker – Disability Care / Aged Care
We are looking for a caring and dedicated Home Care Worker to support aged care and disability clients in their homes.
Responsibilities
* Help people with disabilities live independent lives by providing care and support
* Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meals
* Organize social and recreational activities to promote inclusion
* Monitor clients' health and medication and provide emotional support
* Work with a team and keep records of care
* Support elderly individuals in maintaining their independence and well-being
* Help with personal care tasks, such as bathing and grooming
* Provide companionship and engage in conversation
* Assist with household chores and organising activities
* Monitor health, administer medications, and document care
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members

Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience in providing care for aged care or disability clients
* Knowledge of person-centered care principles and safety regulations
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and manual tasks
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation (if needed)
* Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and evenings
* Preferably with Certificate III or IV (advantage)
* Preferably with hoist experience (advantage)
