The Role
We are looking for a
Personnel Security Governance Director
who will own and deliver the personnel security framework, including policy, risk, awareness, and governance. This role will operate fully remotely and will not have direct staff management responsibilities.
Develop and maintain personnel security frameworks aligned with government regulations
Integrate security into enterprise onboarding and offboarding processes
Oversee risk management processes for international travel and secondments
Create, manage, and improve security policies, awareness, and reporting
Collaborate with stakeholders across various functions

Required Skills and Qualifications
A highly experienced personnel security specialist (5+ years) with in-depth knowledge of government regulations and security protocols
Strong policy development and risk governance capability
Ability to work independently in a hands-on, high-trust role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
In this role, you will be responsible for driving improvements across onboarding and offboarding, managing governance activities such as international travel and secondments, and maintaining accurate records and executive reporting.
