Accor Apartments Realty seeks a detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort & Spa.
Located in the picturesque town of Port Douglas, just an hour's drive north of Cairns, our resort offers a range of accommodations including studios, two and three-bedroom apartments, and a three-bedroom beach front private villa.
We offer all-day dining at ALUCO Restaurant & Bar, a relaxing Pool Bar, and Vie Spa with customised facial treatments and relaxing massages leaving guests renewed and revitalised.
Our resort caters to both leisure and corporate travellers alike, with two meeting rooms accommodating up to 200 guests and three additional wedding locations.
Purpose
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you play a vital role in ensuring every guest has a wonderful stay by keeping our rooms super clean and paying attention to every tiny detail.
Primary Responsibilities
* Clean all sections of the guest rooms, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces to ensure an exceptional first impression.
* Maintain impeccable standards within established guidelines.
* Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping them organised and well equipped.
* Use cleaning materials with care and adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
* Respect guest privacy and security, upholding their comfort.
* Report maintenance issues promptly.
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is beneficial.
* You have a warm and welcoming communication style, making guests and team members feel right at home.
* You have an eye for detail and work efficiently, managing your time well and taking pride in your tasks.
* You enjoy a physical role, navigating between rooms may involve using internal and external staircases and open pathways.
* You are able to collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds.
* You have reliable transportation and are available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
