Talent Acquisition Advisor
on a permanent, full-time basis.
About the role
The role focuses on recruitment, onboarding, developing attraction strategies, curating talent pipelines, and ensuring that acquisition activities are prioritised and aligned to organisational strategy. The Talent Acquisition Advisor builds strong relationships across the City to deliver a wide range of talent acquisition solutions.
A snapshot of your new role:
Manage the employee recruitment life cycle from advertisement, shortlisting, interviewing, offer and acceptance, compliance verification, pre-employment compliance and onboarding.
Consult with People Leaders and People & Performance Business Partners on recruitment strategies to attract the right talent for roles.
Utilise and optimise the City's recruitment system and support others to use these systems in a way that informs data driven recruitment practices.
Stay up to date and provide advice on current recruitment trends for best outcomes for the City.
Coordinate and support a positive onboarding experience for new employees.
Contribute to the development of contemporary and engaging employee experience initiatives including onboarding initiatives and efficiencies.
In collaboration with the P&P generalist team members, assist with payroll, employment conditions and onboarding related enquiries from candidates.
What you will bring to the role:
At least 5 years of relevant Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or Human Resources experience.
Experience in a variety of recruitment techniques, selection practices and methods.
Highly skilled use of digital Recruitment and Human Resources Information Systems.
Significant experience recruiting candidates as part of a diverse and inclusive workforce, including high volume recruitment.
Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, applicants and providers.
Ability to identify talent to meet the City\'s needs and strategic goals aligned to the City\'s values.
Current Satisfactory National Police Clearance.
