AYAN InfoTech are looking for a Senior MuleSoft Developer to join an exciting project based in Melbourne. The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.
Role: Senior MuleSoft Developer
Location: Melbourne
Contract Duration: Until 30 June 2026, but high possibility of extension
Role Summary:
* 5-6 years of hands‐on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4)
* Strong experience with API‐led connectivity and RESTful API development (RAML / OpenAPI)
* Solid hands‐on knowledge of DataWeave 2.0
* Experience designing event‐driven and asynchronous integrations
* Hands‐on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, consumer groups)
* Working knowledge of AWS messaging services: SQS and SNS
* Experience with MuleSoft Database Connector
* Integration experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server)
* Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB)
* Experience with batch processing / batch jobs in Mule
* Strong understanding of API security, including OAuth 2.0 and TLS
* Hands‐on experience with core MuleSoft connectors:
o HTTP / REST
o Database
o Kafka
o AWS SQS / SNS
o JMS/IBM MQ
o File / SFTP / FTP
o Object Store
* Experience with error handling, retries, DLQs, and idempotency
