Please note this position is also being advertised as an Allied Health Professional - Head to Health Kids CAMHS (528808) and only one position will be filled on merit. Please note this position is eligible for a Multi-Disciplinary Allowance. The Team: CYMHS are seeking new H2HK Tasmania Clinical Nurse Specialists Practitioners. This role will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, inclusive of a Clinical Lead, Team Leader and Medical Officers, to deliver secondary level mental health assessment and interventions for infants, children (0-12), and their families and caregivers, experiencing emerging complexity regarding emotional, social, relational, and behavioural functioning. This early intervention service enables families to access a range of evidence based individual and group interventions and supports for mild to moderate emotional, behavioural, social, relational, and developmental challenges. The Head to Health Kids Tas service works with families, and universal, secondary, and tertiary service providers, to provide integrated and holistic care. The Department for Education, Children and Young People (DECYP) is a key co-service partner. The Role: As part of the Head to Health Kids team, support the establishment of the INSERT REGION service Undertake assessments, care planning and delivery of individual and group secondary level mental health interventions to children and families, including culturally appropriate services. Develop and support collaborative care partnerships with service providers including across primary health, child health and parenting, paediatrics, child safety, education, and early childhood programs and services. Collect and review client and service outcome data and participate in activities to improve client outcomes. Contribute to continuing quality and safety, service development and improvement, and professional development processes and standards. You will need: Extensive experience and demonstrated specialist level knowledge of mental health nursing and an understanding of mental health issues in relation to children, adolescents and their families or a demonstrated ability to acquire this understanding. A thorough understanding and application of relevant legal requirements, legislation, statutory requirements, departmental procedures and policies and professional practice standards. Proven ability to provide a range of assessments and therapeutic interventions relevant for children, adolescents and families accessing services and the ability to acquire further expertise in this area. Details of appointment: Fixed term full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2027 *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $109,767 to $115,813 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year other benefits if eligible.
