Home Lending Specialist | Community Bank Mission Beach | QLD — Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Brisbane, Australia

Your role as a Home Lending Specialist (internally known as a Customer Relationship Manager) is to deliver an exceptional experience by working with customers to meet their end-to-end banking needs. Whether you’re guiding first home buyers to create a plan to purchase, or supporting a seasoned investor, you’ll play an integral part of helping our customers through the lending journey and driving growth.
Responsibilities
- Build a pipeline of lending leads and nurture relationships throughout the buying journey using our CRM
- Guide customers through the lending process, providing peace of mind that we’re here to help them achieve their goals
- Leverage credit analysis skills and understand customer needs to ensure positive lending outcomes and future financial success for customers
- Build strong, relationship-centric connections with the community, the branch, and the Branch Manager to deliver effective lending outcomes
- Embrace lifelong learning with on-the-job training and other learning opportunities
- Build connections and contribute to the community, supporting customers and local initiatives while having fun along the way
This is a permanent, full-time position located in Mission Beach. The roster is 76 hours per fortnight.
What you’ll bring to the role
To succeed in this role, you’ll consistently deliver exceptional customer service. We’d love you to have:
- Extensive experience in customer service or sales
- High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations
- Ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues quickly, assess needs, and develop a holistic view of their situation
- Highly developed credit analysis skills
- Understanding of small business offerings
- Consumer lending experience — this is essential
