We are now seeking passionate and professional individuals to join our Front Office Team at Mantra on Hay Hotel, located at 201 Hay Street, East Perth 6004 WA.
About the Role
We are recruiting for Hotel Receptionists (AM Shift, PM Shift & Night Shifts).
This role is essential in delivering excellent guest experiences and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel. The ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional service and create memorable guest experiences from check-in to check-out.
* Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
* Process payments and manage guest accounts using the hotel PMS system.
* Assist with daily reporting, reservations, and general front office administration.
* Maintain safety, security, and presentation standards throughout the shift.
* Perform nightly audits, prepare financial summaries, and ensure system rollovers are completed accurately before reception closes.
About You
* Previous hotel front office or customer service experience preferred.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
* Competent with Microsoft Office; experience with Newbook or Opera Cloud is an advantage.
* Ability to work independently, multi-task, and perform under pressure.
* Flexibility to work weekends, night shifts and public holidays on a rotating roster is a must.
* Potential future 24-hour reception operations; candidates with night shift availability will be highly regarded.
