Air Conditioning Technician (Mechanic) – Location: Gold Coast • Position: Full-time • Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per annum
Synergy Airconditioning is seeking a qualified full-time Air Conditioning Technician to join our team in Gold Coast. This role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial, commercial, and domestic air-conditioning systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, service, and repair residential and commercial air conditioning systems.
* Replace defective components and record all maintenance and repair actions.
* Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance.
* Check and connect equipment, ensuring alignment and accuracy of fit.
* Adjusting system controls and mechanisms as required.
* Communicate clearly with clients and provide top-tier customer service.
* Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
* Conduct leak testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and performance testing on systems.
Qualifications and Skills
* Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
* Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience.
* Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and controls.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Licensing as required in Queensland.
* Valid driver's licence.
