The Non-Clinical Workforce, Administration Support provides casual administration, ward clerk and reception support to all units / departments at Bendigo Health. Placements within these units / departments may be on Bendigo Health's hospital campus or offsite at one of our many locations. Casual staff are expected to report to the relevant manager or supervisor on the day that they are required to attend work. Specific instructions regarding the duties to be undertaken will be provided at this time.
The Administration Bank is structured so that employees are available to work on a casual basis at short notice. A mobile phone is required of all employees to be able to pick up shifts. Bendigo Health uses an electronic messaging system (UKG Dimensions) to enable our casual workforce to be notified of available shifts via an app. Staff are able to accept these shifts upon their availability and suitability.
All employees on the Non-Clinical Workforce must be available to for 2 shifts per week and work a minimum of 2 shifts per month, this will be reported on monthly basis by the Coordinator of the Non-Clinical Workforce, and employees will be contacted if the minimum requirements are not met.

Your new division
The People and Culture Division supports managers, staff and volunteers working at Bendigo Health through a range of services including workforce planning, resourcing strategies, employee relations, industrial relations, learning and development and workplace health and safety. Payroll and salary packaging also report into this division, providing seamless service for staff from on-boarding and contract development to applying contracts and ensuring staff get the right remuneration.
