The
**National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)** is the incoming way of providing support for Australians with disability, their families and carers. The NDIS will provide about 460,000 Australians under the age of 65 with a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need to live a fuller life. Our goal is to build a robust and sustainable range of NDIS 1:1 service direct to customers which will then provide them with the ability to achieve their goals including living in their own home.
**The role**:
HCA Blacktown is looking for a Rostering Team Leader to join our disability services team on a permanent full-time basis. The Rostering Team Leader will report to the National Rostering Manager and will be responsible for providing leadership to the Rostering Team while monitoring and reporting on HCA rostering activities, ensuring timelines and targets are met.
The rostering team is responsible for the allocation of our NDIS support worker's shifts, ensuring the participants have all hours filled within a reasonable timeframe. Working closely with the Care Coordination, Recruitment and Business Development teams, you will ensure a great customer service experience for our clients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the shift allocation function, ensuring the timely and accurate entering of single and bulk shifts
- Provide leadership to the rostering team and offer support, insights and guidance to our management team
- Work with the team to optimize rostering processes
- Monitor and report on HCA rostering activities, ensuring timelines and targets are met
- Understanding the client needs to match appropriate skilled staff to clients; to deliver services in line with their care plan
- Identifying gaps in the roster, ensuring there is a pool of support workers credentialed and ready for shifts
- Assist with incident investigations in
- Perform ad hoc duties and projects assigned by your manager
**Mandatory requirement**:
- Current Police Check (or willing to obtain);
- Current WWCC (or willing to obtain);
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate or Immunization evidence required

- Minimum 2 years experience in rostering within the healthcare sector
- Driven, passionate and dedicated to delivering effective supports to with people with disability
- Emotionally intelligent and an ability to emphasis with customers and respond to their ever-changing needs.
- Ability to calmly perform in high pressure situations
- Determined to perform, exceed targets and execute commercial concepts.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- You enjoy working autonomously and within a team and have a positive and proactive attitude
